Our Schools
West Bend West High School is located in the same building as West Bend East High School. Having two high schools in one building provides economies of scale that results in more class choices, clubs, co-curriculars, and athletics that are not available at most area high schools.
The high school to which students are assigned is based on the birthdate of the oldest child in the family. If that date is an even number, the children attend East High School. If that date is an uneven number, they attend West High School. Birthdates of July 31, August 31, October 31, and December 31 are assigned to West High School. Birthdates of January 31, March 31, and May 31 are assigned to East High School.

At senior athletic awards events on Sunday, May 17, both West Bend East and West Bend West Athletic Departments gave out major awards.

Taylor Ripplinger, head varsity coach of the West football team, received the Prudence Pick Hway Coach of the Year Award due to his character and accomplishments during the previous school year.

After more than five decades as two separate high schools on the same campus, West Bend East High School and West Bend West High School will combine to be one high school, West Bend High School. The change will take effect with the 2027-2028 school year Following a community engagement process, the West Bend School Board voted Monday, March 23 to approve consolidation.

The West Bend School District has completed borrowing the $106.25 million for all projects related to the facilities referendum approved by the district voters in November 2024.
